Ms. Doyle joined the Virtual Connections Academy team in 2022. She has her Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education and Special Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. She studied TESOL at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Buffalo. She earned her Master’s in Education in Educational Leadership from University of Massachusetts at Boston. Ms. Doyle taught Special Education students and English Language Learners for many years in Buffalo, NY, Denver, CO, Boston, MA and Chicago, IL. She then went on to become the Assistant Principal and Principal of a Chicagoland area Therapeutic Day School before joining Virtual Connections Academy as the Principal in 2022.  In her free time, Ms. Doyle loves spending time with her two nephews, playing with her dog, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills!

Senior Psychologist

Dr. Garcia is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA before moving to Chicago, IL where he earned his Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.  Dr. Garcia has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient treatment facilities, a residential treatment center, and an outpatient diagnostic clinic before joining the Connections Organization in 2012.  Dr. Garcia has a background in family therapy, trauma informed care, and working with high risk youth and their families.  In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys spending time with his family and watching Formula 1 racing.
